2012 Festival Wrap
The 2012 Murray River International Music Festival was once again a great success with ticket sales exceeding expectations.
The Festival provided world class performances combined with master-classes and workshops. The artists performed in a variety of locations ranging from riverside settings to wineries, to arts venues in Mildura and Wentworth areas.
"We were extremely happy with the result of this year's Festival. It was a wonderful way to start Arts Mildura's year, with many locals and visitors to the area enjoying the variety of performances in various venues. All of our performances were well received, but our opening night at Ampelon Gardens, Josephine Vains at Wentworth Town Hall and Debborah Cheetham's opera, 'Til the Black Lady Sings in Company,' were popular events. We were also incrediblly lucky with the weather, Mildura once again turning on great weather throughout the Festival." Stedman Watts, Manager, Arts Mildura
Plans are now under way for the 2013 Murray River International Music Festival.
